Luffness New Golf Club
Luffness Golf Club is run to provide an all-round experience of a challenging course with enjoyable hospitality. As well as their members, Luffness also extend their hospitality to visitors wherever possible, with the exception of Saturdays. Their traditionally styled Clubhouse is a welcome place to relax after enjoying the course. The course has seen small alterations over the years under the guidance of many great golfing figures including Willie Park and James Braid. The Club retains the requirement for jacket & tie throughout the majority of the Clubhouse and lunch service in the dining room is restricted to between 12 noon & 2pm. Full details of the terms and conditions for visitors can be found on the website. On the course, rules require a certain standard of attire including that gentlemen may play wearing tailored shorts but must accompany these with long socks. Where in doubt visitors should contact the Secretary. A visit to Luffness New is the ideal way to experience a classic links course that is always in excellent condition and to enjoy the friendly but traditional atmosphere of the Clubhouse.
