Glen Golf Club
The East Links in North Berwick combines inland turf with a glorious seaside setting, where the game has been played as far back as the 17th century. Extended to 18 holes in 1906 by James Braid and Ben Sayers
The Glen is a great challenge for players of all abilities. Elevated tees and greens across the course mean that careful club selection, consistency and confidence in iron play are vital. It is a year round course, benefiting from the climate of East Lothian. Looking majestically out over the course and the Firth of Forth, the clubhouse perfectly complements the golfing experience, offering top quality bar and catering facilities
Suiting players of all abilities the course is challenging but fair. It is 6275 yards (par 70) for men off the medal tees and a 5773 yards (par 73) for ladies.The Glen enjoys a breathtaking cliff top location with many spectacular holes offering views of the Firth of Forth and its islands including the Bass Rock, the world renowned bird sanctuary. The Glen is an all year round course and is seldom closed due to weather, playing normal greens and tees throughout the year.
