muirfield1 smallDucks at Kilspindie is rightly renowned as being a great golfing hotel located as it is less than thirty minutes from Edinburgh, less than an hour from Edinburgh Airport and right in the heart of some of the best links golf courses in Scotland.

East Lothian is one of the best regions for golf in Scotland, with 22 courses offering choice to golfers of all standards and tastes. You may recognise many courses – Dunbar, North Berwick, Gullane, the 2013 Open Championship course at Muirfield, and Musselburgh one of the world’s oldest, where golf has been played since 1672.

The county offers traditional links and classic inland golf courses, many steeped in history and complemented by modern, challenging, courses. All coupled with friendly clubhouses and affordable green fees.

Ducks at Kilspindie knows what the golfer is looking for and will offer help and assistance with tee times, travel arrangements, caddies and of course ensure that your golfing equipment is kept safe and secure when you are playing the 19th Hole.

Throughout the year Ducks offer some great all inclusive short golfing breaks with local course combining accommodation, great wining and dining and some exclusive green fees locally.

The bar in Ducks has a host of sporting memorabilia on the walls and golf obviously takes pride of place and it truly is a great bar to sit in with a malt whisky, a local beer or a fine wine and reflect on the day’s play and the birdies that got away and like many before you, you may be enticed to try the Ducks putting challenge…

  • Testimonials

We take the family to Ducks a few times a year and have always been delighted with the food, wine choice, atmosphere, bar games and service. The new menu is terrific and well worth a trip to sample the delights of the Argentinian Head Chef. While not Michelin starred yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if one arrives in the future. I have had my sales team up in East Lothian many times over the last 5 years and they have always really enjoyed the hotel, food and overall experience. The location is a Go…Testimonial 3
