Xmas parties – Yes it is that time of year again! Christmas!!! To some this maybe August, summer holidays or simply a time for enjoying our amazing East Lothian weather however here at Ducks we are now in the midst of planning various events for the festive period. Work Christmas parties always appear to be the most frightening of things to organise and arrange as one person usually has the unenviable task of deciding what, where and when not to mention why? So this year we at Ducks we thought we would make everyone’s life a little easier by trying to help you by simply offering the best package available and at a very affordable rate….Dates, prices and menu’s to be released within the next 14 days.     Sitting in the bistro at Duck’s relishing the new menu. Started with a lovely creamy Jerusalem artichoke soup, toasted artichoke on a spot of chestnut purée served in a light white soup. Followed by perfect venison, red and tender served on salsify purée with wild chanterelle and a light sauce. The potato mash was the creamiest I have had in a while with a hint of nutmeg.
